The conditions for success of actions aimed at enhancing children’s overall development
(Les conditions de succès des actions favorisant le développement global des enfants)
The results of the 2012 Québec Survey of Child Development in Kindergarten (QSCDK) showed that too many children do not have the knowledge and skills they need for a successful start in school. It is, however, possible to improve children's overall development through the implementation of a set of actions.
On January 16, 2014, the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) published a summary and a tool for reflection (for the use of local actors and practitioners in the field) on the conditions for success of actions aimed at enhancing children's overall development. Experts from Avenir d'enfants collaborated in the preparation of both documents, both of which are currently available only in French.
