The Naître et grandir campaign gears up for summer reading!
As part of the 4th phase of the campaign launched in the fall of 2012, several targeted initiatives will be reminding everyone that a book is the best toy for even the very youngest children... even during the summer! Some features of the campaign:
- Posters on buses in several Quebec cities - Montreal, Gatineau, Saguenay, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières and Quebec City (especially in underprivileged areas) - and in bus shelters in certain Montreal neighbourhoods (Villeray-St-Michel-Parc-Extension, Montreal North, Côte-des-Neiges, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and Verdun).
- Direct mailing of 55,000 sets of small posters to targeted locations (likely to be visited by parents with young children) - focusing on underprivileged areas in Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières and Gatineau - reminding parents of simple activities they can do with their children.
- Wide distribution of My Very Own Book in targeted businesses and at public events throughout the summer. This issue, 20,000 copies of which have been specially printed for the occasion in both French and English, includes a picture book for 0-2 year-olds.
