The February 2012 issue of the journal Développement social has just come out

With a print run of 14,000 copies, the mission of the journal Développement social is to provide a forum for discussion among actors in social development. The latest issue, on the theme of democracy, looks at our institutions and the connections they maintain with the general public. The issue paints a picture of the aspects of what is currently referred to as the "crisis of representative democracy" as it gives a voice to local actors and citizens engaged in the development of their community.
