Lieutenant Governor's Medal for Exceptional Merit awarded to Lucie and André Chagnon

On May 26, 2012, Lucie and André Chagnon were honoured to receive the Lieutenant Governor's Medal for Exceptional Merit (gold) in recognition of their professional, humanitarian and philanthropic achievements. Mr. and Mrs Chagnon were presented with this distinction by The Honourable Pierre Duchesne on the Macdonald Campus of McGill University in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. The Lieutenant Governor awards this medal in recognition of the outstanfding achievements of an individual or organization. Every year he identifies one or more areas of endeavour he intends to favour, consults his advisers and announces the recipients.
