Claude Chagnon awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal

On May 23, 2012, several community members of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region, just outside of Montreal, were awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. Claude Chagnon was one of the six individuals honoured for his contribution to the community. The Diamond Jubilee Medal is a new commemorative medal that was created to mark the 2012 celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne.
