Québec en Forme joins the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation to inaugurate a new multipurpose community rink
A large number of municipal, business and political stakeholders attended the January 20 inauguration of the first of a series of refrigerated outdoor rinks that the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation plans to build in the city's underprivileged neighbourhoods. Forwards Georges Laraque and Alex Tanguay, along with defenseman Mathieu Dandenault, gave a demo to the many spectators. Québec en Forme was involved in the project from the get-go, helping the Canadiens Children's Foundation select communities and developing partnerships to ensure the sustainability of the rink.
