Major support for breastfeeding
The Centre de santé et de services sociaux (CSSS) du Sud de Lanaudière has been working for several years to foster an environment conducive to breastfeeding and to standardize approaches, information and support for families that opt to breastfeed their infants. Over the next three years, the Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation will contribute a total of $350,000 to enable the CSSS to update its breastfeeding policy and meet the goals of the World Health Organization's Baby-friendly Hospital Initiative program.
