Bill 7 passed: $400 million to promote the development of young children living in poverty in Quebec
On September 24, 2009, Bill 7, tabled by Quebec Family Minister Tony Tomassi, was passed in the National Assembly. The Minister took the opportunity to remind MNAs that this legislation will result in an investment of $400 million aimed at giving young children living in poverty the chance they need to successfully enter the school system and pursue their education.
