The 2es Rencontres interrégionales sur la persévérance et la réussite scolaires conference in Quebec City on October 19 and 20, 2011
The 2es Rencontres interrégionales sur la persévérance et la réussite scolaires (second inter-regional meetings on student retention and educational success) are a continuation of the first edition of the Journée interrégionales sur la persévérance scolaire et la réussite éducative held in 2008. Over 800 decision-makers are expected to attend this year's conference, including Line Beauchamp, Minister of Education, Recreation and Sports, and Yves Bolduc, Minister of Health and Social Services. This important meeting is part of the movement to bring the percentage of Quebecers under 20 who hold a diploma to 80% by 2020 by mobilizing civil society, communities and the educational milieu, and by encouraging initiatives aimed at promoting educational success. The meetings were made possible thanks to the support of Réunir Réussir.
