Four young basketball stars at the Jeux de la francophonie canadienne

Éric Oupoh, Tachefin Nekaa, André Alexandre-Aimé and Samy Désir, four young athletes who participated in the Bien dans mes baskets program at École Jeanne-Mance in Montreal, were proud to represent Quebec at the Canadian Francophone Games that were held this past summer from July 20-24 in Sudbury, Ontario. The foursome turned in a brilliant performance, bringing home the first gold medal for Quebec in the history of the games in 3-on-3 boys basketball. The Foundation extends its warmest congratulations to these four young baketball stars, and is pleased to have been able to contribute to the Bien dans mes baskets program, which motivates teenagers to work hard and do what it takes to stay in school.
