Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation receives the BNP Paribas Prize for Personal Philanthropy

On June 17, 2010, Claude Chagnon, President of the Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation, was in Paris to receive the BNP Paribas Prize for Personal Philanthropy. Awarded during the second edition of the Philanthropy and Sustainable Development meetings by a jury of international experts from the university, artistic, cultural, entrepreneurial and community milieus, the Prize for Personal Philanthropy was originally created to promote dialogue between the business community and its environment. It is conferred by BNP Paribas, the leading bank in the Euro zone and one of the ten largest banks in the world. Claude Chagnon accepted the award on behalf of the Foundation"with gratitude and humility, dedicating it to all the men and women who work to improve childhood development in every region of Quebec".
